Judith Hartmann has served as an Executive Vice President of ENGIE and its Chief Financial Officer since 2015. She became responsible for CSR in 2019 and also supervises the Group’s activities in the United Kingdom and North America.
From 2012 to 2014, she was Chief Financial Officer and a Member of the Executive Committee of German group Bertelsmann as well as being a non-Executive Director of the RTL Group, a Member of the Board of Penguin Random House LLC and of Gruner & Jahr AG & Co KG.
From 2000 to 2012, she worked for the General Electric Group where she held mostly finance functions, specifically as CFO of Brazil, CEO of GE Healthcare Latin America and lastly as Chief Financial Officer of GE Germany.
Prior to that, Judith began her career at the Walt Disney Company and the Canadian Department of Transport.
Judith Hartmann holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration and a PhD in Economics from the Vienna University of Business Administration & Economics (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien).
She is a Director of the ENGIE Corporation Foundation, Suez, Electrabel and Unilever.
